Raquel Mazon Jeffers Named New Jersey Deputy Commissioner for Population Health
The idea that our systems of care are strengthened when philanthropy, government, and community come together is a cornerstone for CHAP.
For the past five years, Raquel Mazon Jeffers has helped steer our work with a uniquely powerful blend of philanthropic and public sector expertise.
Raquel’s previous roles in state government informed not only her dedication to creating more integrated and community-based care systems. They informed our approach to catalyzing and supporting collaborations between government stakeholders, colleagues in philanthropy, and community-based leaders in New Jersey and nationally.
As we continue this work, in an era of eroding federal support, having partnership champions in all realms and sectors is a must — which is why we are so heartened and proud to share this news today.
Our deepest congratulations to Raquel on this incredibly significant next step. New Jersey is lucky to have you back, and we look forward to finding new ways of working together to bolster and better the systems that sustain its families and communities.
